What to pack?

Welcome to Chapman Springs Ranch!

We want to make sure you are prepared and have the best experience possible. So with that let us help you pack!

The following packing list will help you prepare for your visit with us:

Long-sleeved shirts for layering and cooler mornings and evenings.

Sweatshirt, coat, light jacket, or rain gear for cool morning activities and unpredictable mountain weather.

Blue jeans for comfort and protection from brush and trees while horseback riding.

Cowboy boots!

Casual clothes are recommended. We want you to be comfortable on the ranch!

Cowboy hats or ball caps to keep the sun off your face.

Swimming suits & gear for swimming in the ranch ponds.

Sunscreen, sunglasses, bug spray, and other needed protection. We do spray our guest areas for all bugs, however, if you are hicking it is a good idea to have a body spray to keep the pests away.

If you plan to UTV, bring clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. The experience can be dusty/muddy in the summertime. If you plan on using the UTVs we provide some helmets, but you may want to bring your own helmet and goggles for a better fit and your preferred functionality.

If you’re staying on the ranch during the winter, please bring the following snow gear: hats, gloves, foot warmers/hand warmers, scarves, snow pants/snowsuit, jacket, and snow boots. If you plan on snowmobiling, we provide some helmets, but you may want to bring your own helmet and goggles for a better fit and your preferred functionality.

Now that you know what to pack, let’s talk about how you can capture all the amazing moments you will have at Chapman Springs Guest Ranch. Learn more here
